good question! what did i do yesterday?

i was right!

woo hoo…i’m a winner! (and now, i am a loser…by announcing that i am a “winner”.)

i recently had a “hah! i told you so” moment. my partner, sarah, and i were having a friendly conversation in the living room.

at one point. i told sarah that i thought that she was “goading” me. she laughed and said, “it isn’t goad”…it’s “goat”…as in, “trying to get your goat”. i then insisted that she was incorrect…and it was, “goad”.

sarah then entered “goad” into an online dictionary. she looked less than thrilled, when she announced that the word indeed…was “goad”. she apologized for the good natured ribbing rhat i was given.

i really enjoyed basking in the glory of my “ha! i told you so” moment. sarah was a very good sport. i look forward to my next, “ha!” moment!

yesterday

yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone…don’t stop thinking about tomorrow…

yesterday i was completely exhausted.  i woke up at about 5 am…ate, showered…computered.  went with sarah and pam to look at house.  went with sarah to pick up gunther’s pills…then to mcdonald’s.  got dropped off for therapy.  went to pam’s house for sarah to take care of the dogs.  ran into safeway to get a few groceries…looked all over for bagelfulls…asked two people…no luck!  went home…played frisbee with dieter.  gunther peed in the car…and then proceeded to pee several more times in the yard before coming in.  had a ham and cheddar sandwich for dinner.  watched tv…fell asleep…woke up and put cpap on…woke up this moring at 3:30 am…now it is today.

today was a good day…

woke up
ate some dry cereal
took pills
took shower
fed dogs
gave dogs meds
took dogs potty
put the girl’s into their crates
leashed gunther
said the prayer
went with mother davis to the rosemary cafe for breakfast
mother davis had a pepsi and everybody’s eggs with cheddar…and rosemary potatoes, with sourdough toast
sarah had a scramble with swiss, spinach, pesto, and onion…potatoes…and sourdough toast
i had a scramble with bacon, swiss, spinach, onions, and green chiles…potatoes…and a bagel with cream cheese and jelly
bought 3 peanut butter cookies, a day old lemon cookies, and a cinnamon strudel muffin
went to steve’s garage sale
went to cost plus
bought tortilla chips and salsa
went to michael’s
bought canvas boards, tempera paint, paint brushes, medium matte gel, artist trading cards
came home
played frisbee with dieter
talked to melissa
talked to mom
blogged

mcdonald’s:  sarah had 2 biscuits with egg and cheese, i had 2 sausage mcmuffins with folded eggs
pic-n-save:  got some snacks, a tub for the xmas tree, toothpaste, and a bra (that doesn’t fit)
went home
gunther had a bad stomach all afternoon and night
made hot pockets for dinner…meatball and mozzarella
made popcorn
worked on computer
watched tv

awake…

what a night.  i think that i finally fell asleep at about 2 am…after the bernie mac show.  then…i was woken up by a barking spreckles at 3 am.  i tried to go back to sleep…but, no dice!  i got on the computer since i could not fall asleep.  i played frontierville, mafia wars, and farmville…all the while thinking that eventually i would get tired enough to fall asleep…no…it didn’t happen.  i think that i was also having tactile hallucinations…which i have had before…i felt like things were crawling on me and biting me.  it was an awful night!  it is 8:30 am now…and i still haven’t gone to sleep.  sarah will be getting up soon…and then we have appointments.  amy goes to the vet @ 10 am, we have to pick-up dieter and ben’s prescriptions, then on to the attorney @ 11:30 am.  in the meantime…i am feeling very sweaty and just exhausted.  well…hopefully sarah slept good enough for the both of us.

this is what i have done so far today…

ate cereal for breakfast @ 5 am
took dogs out
went to check blood sugar (but fell asleep with kit on lap)
woke back up @ 11 am
watched regis & kelly for a bit
checked blood sugar (212)
threw frisbee for dieter
made velveeta shells and cheese for lunch, also ate cottage cheese
watched some of the channel 8 news
turned the people’s court on
fed the dogs
gave gunther his pill
gave ben his pill
waited for the computer
 got computer
checked email
